MEXICAN KITCHEN
TOTOPO
Totopo (meaning ‘tortilla chip’ in Spanish) is a bright and friendly Mexican restaurant in Mount Lebanon. They’ve created a flexible space that works great for anything from a first date to casual family dinners. The kitchen is constantly creating authentic recipes from Oaxaca to Baja California, plus an array of Tequila-based cocktails.
We were tasked with a brand re-fresh that maintained the fun and quirky nature of Totopo, while elevating it to a place of recognizable Pittsburgh brands. By working closely with the owner and chef of the restaurant, we brought the brand to life through the creation a unique mark showcasing two birds that join to form one (this mark is also shared with Totopo’s sister restaurant Tocayo), a website, promotional materials (keychains for neighbors and a “money off” peso), and branded collateral in and outside the restaurant.
